Space Wasters 3
Space Wasters 3 is a side-scrolling shootemup like
Space Wasters 1, but is a vast improvement
thanks to the advice of Space Wasters 1 veterans.
Since the creation of Space Wasters 1 and 2
I learnt a lot about using Klik and Play, and bought a cheap
scanner which allowed me to hand-draw all the graphics.
. . .
. . .

Getting this game completed was a battle because my 486 was
getting a bit old (it was the only computer I could make the game on, and that was several years ago now). Space Wasters 3 is one of the most thorough
of the games here and probably the best to go for if
you expect to be playing by yourself most of the time.
The game is intended to be 2-player, and will run on a reasonable 486 PC with
Windows 3.1 and 8Mb of RAM.
Space Wasters 3 continues the story of that same guy with the
big nose and his troublesome teachers. That's not all, though - SW3 also
contains entirely original graphics, a soundtrack of many midi files I made
myself, and cut-scenes between levels to keep you clued up on that great storyline.
There are three levels of blasting action for you to complete, and
each level has its own troublesome teacher waiting at the end.
The game is a 2.5Mb download due to all the animation and sound,
but I've made it as small as possible without cramping its style.
Can Un-Clem ever hope to win against the wickedest pack of teachers
ever to grace a computer screen? Will Space Wasters 3 be bigger than
those sample-sized breakfast cereal packs? Or will it end up as
popular as watermelon flavour juice sachets?
Only one way to find out..
