Feather Rampage

Creator: nuF FREE Fun

Feather Rampage is all about killing chickens. If you think that's horrific, just remember that they're not real chickens but nicely-done 3d ones that appear to make duck noises. Chicken sound effects must have been a bit hard to come by. Anyway, Feather Rampage uses a top view and you move around your crosshairs with the mouse. It supports one or two players (player 2 uses the keyboard), and the idea is to kill as many chickens as possible in the time limit.
You cannot hide from me, miserable chickens!
Each time you hit a chicken, you lose one further second of time so if you want to get the best score you'd better shoot fast. At the completion of a 2-player match you get to read your performance rating to a funeral march. A screen shake option and a CD player are built into the game, although the levels are too brief to fit in a song. The high score table in 1 player mode did not seem to work, but other than this Feather Rampage is a much more successful game than other titles by this author. It's small (1Mb), has a good help file and no display problems, and is great stress relief.
