Walkerton in: Aliens took my Doritos
Creator: David Willis
This game takes the form of a platform adventure, and you play a member
of the SEMI task force who must fight to save the planet and its corn chips
from the nasty little purple aliens. Your actions decide which path you
will take to complete the game, which comprises some fifty frames.
Throughout the levels are little animated sequences which fill you in on
the story, a light-hearted tale that is unashamedly predictable, ridiculous and
entertaining.
In the screenshot, for instance, we see Walkerton fighting the mutant frosted
honey bun.
A strange aspect of Aliens took my Doritos is the impossibility of losing.
You can't ever lose, no matter how hard you try. If you die, an alien will grab
you and drag you off to another level, and you take a different path through
the game. This means, of course, that you get to see all the graphics and cut
scenes. Aside from a few other minor bugs, however, this is an elaborate game
by a talented cartoonist whose Walkerton games are well worth the download.
